Tuitioned Refund Policy

Purpose:

This Refund Policy ("Policy") outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds will be considered for online tutoring services provided by Tuitioned (hereinafter referred to as "Tuitioned," "we," "us" or "our") through our website, tuition-ed.com. This Policy forms a legally binding agreement between Tuitioned, the registered tutor providing the service ("Tutor"), and the individual or entity purchasing the tutoring services ("Consumer").

Scope:

This Policy applies to all online tutoring services offered by Tuitioned, including but not limited to:

● One-on-one tutoring sessions
● Group tutoring sessions
● Subject-specific packages
● Test preparation services

Eligibility for Refunds:

Tuitioned understands that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Refunds may be considered under the following conditions:

● Technical Difficulties: If the Consumer experiences persistent technical difficulties (e.g., audio/video issues, platform malfunctions) that significantly disrupt the tutoring session, and these issues cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe, a refund may be granted. The Consumer must provide documented evidence of the technical issues.
● Tutor Unavailability: If a scheduled tutoring session is canceled by the Tutor due to unforeseen circumstances, and a suitable replacement Tutor cannot be arranged within a reasonable timeframe, a full refund for the canceled session may be considered.
● Trial Session Dissatisfaction: If the Consumer is not satisfied with athe initial trial session, they may request a refund within 24 hours of the session's completion.

Non-Refundable Circumstances:

Refunds will generally not be granted in the following situations:

● Change of Mind: Once the Consumer agrees to the terms of service and initiates payment beyond the single trial session, refunds will not be provided if the Consumer simply changes their mind about the tutoring services.
● Partial Session Completion: If a tutoring session has been partially completed, a pro-rated refund will not be issued.
● Consumer Caused Issues: Refunds will not be granted for technical difficulties caused by the Consumer's equipment, internet connection, or lack of familiarity with the online tutoring platform.
● Missed Sessions: If the Consumer misses a scheduled session without providing adequate notice (as outlined in the Cancellation Policy), a refund will not be granted.

Refund Request Procedure:

1. Notification: Consumers must submit a refund request in writing to [email protected] within seven (7) calendar days of the incident that gives rise to the request. Requests must include:
○ Consumer's name and contact information
○ Tutor's name
○ Date and time of the tutoring session
○ Detailed description of the reason for the refund request
○ Any supporting documentation (e.g., screenshots, error logs)
2. Review: Tuitioned will review all refund requests on a case-by-case basis within 14 business days of the request being received. Tuitioned reserves the right to request additional information or documentation to support the refund request.
3. Decision: Tuitioned will communicate the decision regarding the refund request to the Consumer in writing. If a refund is approved, the method of refund and expected timeline will be provided.

Refund Method:

● Approved refunds will be processed back to the Consumer's original payment method.
● Refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear in the Consumer's account, depending on the financial institution.

Limitations:

● Tuitioned reserves the right to deny any refund request that it deems unreasonable or fraudulent.
● Tuitioned may modify this Refund Policy at any time. The updated Policy will be posted on the tuition-ed.com website, and Consumers are responsible for reviewing the Policy regularly.
● This Policy does not supersede any additional terms and conditions that may be outlined in a separate agreement between Tuitioned and the Consumer.
