TUITIONED was founded in 2020 by Alex Smith, a teacher turned entrepreneur with a passion for equitable education. After spending years in the classroom, Alex became dismayed by the lack of access and affordability when it came to supplementary academic support.
He dreamed of an online company that could deliver excellent tuition to any student, anywhere in the world.
And so, TUITIONED was born out of a small office with a few employees. Fast forward to today over 15,000 students learn with us globally, with enrollment growing every year! While we've grown considerably from our scrappy beginnings, our vision remains the same: to break down barriers in education with technology and passion.
